| Illinois Chamber Employment Law Council: Paid Leave for All Workers JCAR Update On Tuesday, the Joint Committee on Administrative Rules (JCAR) pushed consideration of the Illinois Department of Labor’s (IDOL) changes to its proposed rule for the implementation and enforcement of the Paid Leave for All Workers Act (PLAWA) until JCAR’s next meeting scheduled for March 12th. The Illinois Chamber will reach out to IDOL and engage them in the discussions recommended by JCAR. The Department is holding additional webinars on the PLAWA as follows: · February 8, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. CT; · February 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CT; · March 7, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. CT; and, · March 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CT.
