General Assembly Adjourns Without Passing Tax Relief Package

 The General Assembly adjourned on Tuesday without passing any sort of tax relief package for CME or Sears.  The House planned on trying to run another bill after the Senate version failed in the House but the Senate adjourned without taking any more action and the House therefore followed suit.  As of now, legislators will not return until January.  View our Government Affairs Report for more background.
